Fun and Adventure at Carabalí Rainforest Park

Located in Luquillo, between the El Yunque National Forest and the Atlantic coastline, Carabalí Rainforest Park offers horseback riding, mountain biking, go-karting and ATV trails, all set in spectacular scenery. Horseback riding adventures take place along trails in the foothills of the renowned El Yunque National Forest where guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the diverse flora and fauna of one of the island's most popular attractions. The tour includes refreshments on the banks of the Mameyes Rivers, where riders can enjoy a swim in the river's crystal clear waters. Be sure to keep an eye out for Puerto Rico's much-loved mascot – the coquí.

More energetic adventurers may want to mountain bike along the trail through the El Yunque foothills. This tour also includes a swimming break at the Mameyes River, where riders can cool off and rejuvenate before hitting the trail again. Specialized aluminum mountains bikes are provided, along with helmets, gloves and water. Riders will be accompanied by fully bilingual guides who are CPR and First Aid certified.

ATV adventures take visitors along a series of trails and through challenging terrain on the 600-acre ranch, as well as through the rainforest foothills. A refreshing swim in the Mameyes River is also part of this adventure, which has an age limit of 16 years for drivers and 7 years for passengers. While enjoying the excitement of driving a quad bike, be sure to take time to enjoy the picturesque scenery of Puerto Rico's east coast.

Another adventure option at Carabalí Rainforest Park is the go-kart speed ride. Single and double go-karts are available and drivers can travel at their own speed on the 1,000 square feet track. Minimum height for children is 54" and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Facilities include the Carabalí Bar & Grill Restaurant and the Bamboo Lounge, where visitors can relax and enjoy a variety of food and drink, including traditional Puerto Rican favorites. Certainly this scenic venue offers plenty to keep the entire family happy for hours.
