Fun and Excitement at Toro Verde in Orocovis

Located less than an hour's drive from San Juan, near the town of Orocovis, Toro Verde Ecological Adventure Park offers hours of fun and excitement for thrill-seekers – all in picturesque natural surroundings. The Zipline at Toro Verde features eight two-line wires, connected by a series of platforms. The minimum height for visitors to enjoy the zipline is 4 feet, with the maximum weight the wires can safely carry being limited to 300 pounds. Strapped into a harness and traveling feet first, the speed of the ride varies depending on wind speed, weight and other factors – and is sure to be exhilarating.

More adventurous visitors may want to try "La Bestia" a ziplining experience where the participant is strapped into a harness, face-down and hands-free, to travel along a 4,745 foot length of cable like Superman - with potential speeds of up to 60 mph. As the world's longest single-run zipline, La Bestia offers a true adrenalin rush. Visitors must be a minimum of 4 feet tall, with the minimum weight for the ride being 100 pounds and the maximum limit being 300 pounds.

Toro Salvaje is the park's most thrilling adventure. Starting at "The Flight of the Condor", visitors zipline to the first suspension bridge, "The Way of the Iguana", then onto the "Scorpion's tail" and the "Jump of the Coqui". Toro Salvaje includes two cables, five suspension bridges and a rappel down 230 feet to the rain forest and a waterfall. The minimum height for this adventure is 5 feet with a maximum weight of 250 pounds, and participants must be over 12 years of age. Groups are limited to 20 people per tour.

The Sal Si Puedes adventure combines ziplining to a platform located 300 feet above the spectacular rain forest, and rappelling down the "Big Rock". Cable jumps include the "Jump of the Coqui Orocovis" and "The Buzz of the Hummingbird". Cables include "Flight of Manatee" one and two, and participants are assured of some breathtaking scenery to add to the thrill of the adventure. Participation in this Toro Verde tour requires participants to be physically fit. Minimum height is 5 feet, with the minimum age being 15 years. Maximum weight allowed is 250 pounds, with tours restricted to 20 people at a time. Enjoy!
