Puerto Rico is an archipelago in the northeastern Caribbean, which attracts many visitors from far and wide who want to enjoy the sun, sand and sea. Many Puerto Ricans make a livelihood out of water-related activities such as ferrying tourists to the smaller islands for scuba diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, fishing and more. The various marinas of Puerto Rico are also used as a home base for many privately owned yachts and boats. The Puerto Rico International Boat Show serves as a venue to bring together buyers and sellers of nautical equipment in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, where the very latest in technology will be on display and can be discussed with experts in their various fields.

More than 50 exhibitors will be displaying boats of every description, as well as jet-skis, motors, security systems, air-conditioning systems, sailing apparel, electronic equipment, communication systems, safety equipment, scuba diving equipment, clothing, financing and insurance. Sea Rescue representatives will also be on hand to answer any questions.

Keen fishermen are sure to find whatever they are looking for at the Puerto Rico International Boat Show, where suppliers such as Gone Fishing and The Tackle Box will have their products on display and expert advice to share.

There will also be prizes to be won, live music for the whole family and entertaining activities for the children. Numerous food vendors will be offering a variety of tasty food throughout each day of the Puerto Rico International Boat Show and there are areas for visitors to sit and relax while they eat.

Without a doubt, anyone interested in exploring and enjoying the wonders of the ocean should be sure to visit the Puerto Rico International Boat Show 2008 in San Juan.
