With approximately one thousand one hundred slips and magnificent facilities, the Puerto Del Rey Marina in Puerto Rico is the Caribbean’s biggest marina. It lies just south of the town of Fajardo and is a colorful marina filled with motorboats, yachts and sailboats, that is also a home base for many fishing charters and boating operators. Restaurants and stores offer distraction to visitors who come to the marina to marvel at the docked boats and enjoy the beauty of the coast. But there are great plans in store for this wonderful marina, as a project is being launched to give the Puerto Del Rey Marina a facelift.

Puerto Rico’s elegant Club Nautico de San Juan will be hosting the 55th annual San Juan International Billfish Tournament between 11 and 17 August 2008. As the longest consecutively held international billfish tournament in the world, the week-long San Juan International Billfish Tournament draws top deep-sea fishing competitors from around the world to enjoy four days of fishing and plenty of entertainment and partying.

The Puerto Rico International Boat Show is considered to be the biggest and most successful boat show in Puerto Rico, as well as the Caribbean. Taking place from 22 to 24 February 2008 at the new Puerto Rico Convention Center and the San Juan Bay Marina area, the Puerto Rico International Boat Show 2008 promises to be an exciting event representing everything related to the nautical industry. The doors will open at 10:00 am each day with the venue closing at 10:00 pm on Friday and Saturday and at 7:00 pm on Sunday, allowing visitors a full day to enjoy the show.
