Description:

Maricao in Puerto Rico really does have a special quality about it, as it boasts the coffee of choice by the White House since the reign of President Roosevelt in 1933.

In February the local people of the Maricao Coffee Region take to celebrating the conclusion of the annual harvest, an important occasion to the people. Thus during this time both visitors and locals can enjoy the array of activities from live music to parades to exhibitions, and of course good local cuisine and traditional coffee!

So come visit and share in this wonderful occasion!
