Festivals seem to be a way of life in Puerto Rico and each year tribute is made to the Patron Saint of each town. In this case it’s the celebration to San Sebastian who is said to have played a part in the liberation of Puerto Rico from Spain.
Description:
On the street, in honor of the patron saint Sebastian, an unforgettable scene of great vibrancy takes hold as colorful exhibitions take place, from local parades to fairground rides, live music and of course food stalls, encompassing all the laughter and excitement from enthralled visitors of every age and size.
Spend the last hours of the day dancing the night away.

My daughter and I want to go visit Puerto Rico in January 2012. We want to enjoy January 6 and the San Sebastian festival. I need to know the day of the festival for next year so I can book my fly with anticipation. Thanks
