we are in mayority european, and african with some genes from the indigenous tainos which died out or moved out to other islands, during the discovery period.
NO there are no tainos , yes there are groups that are hoping to resurrect a people that no longer exist, by importing ideas from indigenous groups of venezuela, brazil, colombia.
but just because they look like what we imagine does not make it so.
we also have in our genetic make up and in our culture arab traditions, specifically from the spanish moriscos, which of course comprised the mayority of the crews that were coming in during the spanish discovery and conquista period.
whether p.ricans are white in complexion yes, the mayority.
you have more p. rican mestizos and mulatos in the states.
