Mike, Albizu was a very beloved and respected individual who gave millions inspiration before and after his death. Even some of the most ardent statehooders understand the positive contributions that he made to the Puerto Rican cultural and national identity; his oratory approach was very animated and is still used by many public speakers even today; he questioned the racial and political motives the US imposed on the island with some inflamatory language, at times, during the decades that Jim Crowism was at its height in the US; in Puerto Rico things were no better than on the mainland;; to ask such a question as you did is an invitation for caustic disagreement as it offends that sensibilites of most here. With respect to you, I would ask that if you differ with his philosophical, legal, or social positions argue along these lines but I think it is important that you consider what I state herein..
