"Puedo hablar...(instead of habla)"
"Puertorriquena (instead of Puerto riquena)"
half is "mitad"....overall your spanish is not bad (grammar) just need to polish a few details and you are going to do fine. For a person who perhaps has spent most of her life in U.S. (hope I'm right) I don't see a reason for you to hit the "panic" button. Keep up the good work and you'll be on your way to success! When you least expect it, you'll be fluent in Spanish. Ah, if you have cable watch the Spanish channels and whenever you get a chance, read spanish newspaper. Here's a link to "El Nuevo Dia" newspaper in P.R. (Internet). You'll have a lot to practice here, it's the perfect place to learn how to pronounce words and practice your grammar as well.
