I have only made sancocho one time, and it came out ok. But, I wanna know if anybody has any tips on how to make a REALLY good stew, and what kinds of ingredients I could put in it to make it better, because I really don't know!

All I could think of was carrots and potatoes, plus the beef itself. Need some help u guys.... give me something!
