I think he knows I am a hopelessly devoted socialist. Lol. Cid actually commented in that thread being facetious about him representing x,y and z. All that 'gongorismo' as you say, is his natural form of expression. He emails me occassionally and we talk about literature, architecture, Spanish history, Puerto Rican history, North American culture, modern life in general. We don't deal with politics. Different views. But, he does like debating you. And I think it is something good for both of you to fight it out. It sure keeps it interesting around here.
