Stan how you made me laugh with your joke about the electric light. I almost fell off of my 'compu' chair with that one. But you are superb with that 'jiste' but a dunderhead about facts. Your "friend" el cid barato has not confirmed that yet, hmmm. But since I am an old timer, let me tell you how wrong and ludicrous you are about the electricity remark. Again I will use facts, like the one proved that because of my affiliation with the Lincoln Brigade in the 1930s I have been a Spanish citizen, since 1996, and without knowing it. Well, I don't support anything that is 'imponido' without my input in the process. But of course that is what imperialists do, look how the U.S. imposed its citizenship upon us, without our inputs. But to get back to the electric light, Eureka!, I had occasion in Orange, NJ to meet with the then ancient Thomas Edison, and he showed me around his beautiful home and featured his great Library, which the Wizard of Menlo Park had put together over his many years of making inventions and reading many technical tomes, all of which he had in library stacks from floor to ceiling, and illuminated by a huge skylight during the day, and with his great invention the electric light by night. Well, let me explain that he spoke to me about his inventions, and sort of wanted to get my reaction, I suppose, to them. And so I showing the greatest respect for him launched into my impressions of them, ending with the emphasis on his great contributions which were spectacular in terms of social responsibility. We even discussed his atheism, too, and his reliance on natural ways of healing. He was a Naturopath all the way. And when I finished giving my responses I looked at him, and waited, and he smiled beneficently at me, which, of course, I took to be approval of what I said to him, including what I told him about the electric lightbulb. Those are the facts, Stan; nothing in them about not believing in the electric light like you presumed so wittingly. It was a good joke,of course, as all I think will verify and I laughed quite heartly at it. I love a good joke, from whomever it comes from.
