Thumbs up

Having your Monitor at "HIGH SETTINGS" can make other components in your computer malfunction.Unnecessary High resolution and other non-necessary features being active does more damage than good to your computer. If you don't do any computerize publishing work and or don't work with color photos, you don't need high resolution.Likewise goes for having high settings for Screen Saver,Background High Colors such as picture background is bad.Why is having those features bad for your computer? Because it eats up Memory and if your computer doesn't have enough Memory to run around freely, what happense is that more often than not is that your mouse will Freeza a lot including but not limited to the PC turning off, etc,.Unless otherwise your computer has enough Memory such as 128MB or more can you have reasonable setting and high resolution.Changing your Monitor's setting and resolutions is a simple yet easy process.By simply RIGHT clicking on an empty space using the mouse you will see a very small window pop up.Drag the mousae pointer all the way down and Left click by sellecting "Properties".Your "Display Properties" window show's up.From this "Display Property" screen you have several choices for you do changes to your Monitor. Before doing changes do have a pen and paper ready so that you can right down its present setting and resolution. This way if you want to return to your settings, you already have the info written down instead of guessing.
