Thumbs up

One of the very BEST thing to have around and at hand when needed is a STARTUP-DISK or BOOTABLE DISK as it is also know. When a computer starts acting up and or it simply doesn't bootup to its regular and or normal Window, the need for a STARTUP DISK is extremely essential.A emergency STARTUP DISK has special system files on it that helps the computer when the main system won't start properly. It is extremely important for every computer user to have one STARTUP DISK at hand at all times.Am not gonna bore you with unnecessary technical information with the "HOW" the boot process works so as to leave all my information basic for easy reading and understanding for all my readers. What I can say is this, that the emergency boot disk contians the necessary system files that will help your computer startup on safe-mode.From here you can easily do the necessary changes such as monitor settings and resolution and perform minor maintenance and repairs. If you don't have one emergency boot disk,I strongly recommend that you do creat one right this very moment after reading this information. The process in creating an emergency boot disk is very simple.First you a NEW diskette.Insert it into your floppy drive.Go to Start,Settings and click on control panel.Once control panel opens up,select Add/Remove Programs by double clicking on the icon. When the Add/Remove Programs Properties box comes up,simply select by clicking on "Startup" and Creat Disk. You do nothing else, the computer takes care of the rest.If you need personal technical assistance with any PC Maintenance,Repair and or Upgrading issues contact me by e-mailing you your questions.I'll be more than glad to assist you.My e-mal address is: "lee9000@optonline.net".
