Not ONLY is it extremely dangerous due to rain water and sunlight hitting it but also because lightning and dust have much greater access to its interior.Whenever its raining hard try not using the computer for at least several minutes and or at least wait untill the rain stops.Computer connectivity through Internet using a phone line/modem and using it while its raining is much more dangerous because the phone lines can and will recieve electrical hits through lightnings.Do be extremely careful.
