Windows 95,98,ME,XP,and 2000 all have a hidden program from where you can work and find and restore many files regardless if you deleted them or they simply got corrupted and or lost. The process is very easy and one that can save you time. On other times you must have your Operating System CD handy because many times than not the process might ask for the CD. The process is as follow: Click 1.Start, 2.Programs, 3.Accesories, and 4. System Tools. Choose "System Information". Once in system Information choose "Tools and scroll down to "System File Checker. From there you can easily follow the step by step process. If by any chance you find it some what hard to do the process simply state so and I'll help you.
