Smile Women Preachers: Is it Biblical?

I have a couple of questions I would like to know about what the Bible says regarding women preachers. First, is a woman allowed to preach according to the Bible? Second, is there a difference between a Pastor and a Preacher? Third, if a woman is allowed to preach, can she be the head of the church? Fourth, can a woman hold the title of Pastor? Last, if the woman has a husband who is the head of the church, does that make it ok for her to preach? Someone help me. Thanks.

I once had these questions before, but I studied it out in the bible, and sought out advice just like you. Women CAN preach, but if they do, then they have to do it to other women. In the bible it makes it clear that Women can share to anyone... men and women... about their lives, and how they feel, etc., but the cannot preach at men, or rebuke men, because they must be submissive. So women can preach to other women , but not really to men because the bible states that men are the leaders and women have to be submissive to that.
But at the same time, men can not take advantage of this situation, and disregard a woman's feelings because he thinks that he is over her becasue she is a woman. We are all equal to an extent, as long as we respect each other and just love one another.
We have women in my church come up on stage and share all the time... but not Preach. If you would like to talk more, or discuss this more, then you can email me at Crispyd255@cs.com.

Thanks,
Flaquito

Thumbs up

Amen to that.

The only people who had woman preachers and priest were pagans. Now some time people adopt pagan practices and call it enlightment. Hmmm, I call it going back....

There is a real confusion in this matter about women preaching. As for me, I don't see ANY confusion or anything that warrants that woman should not preach. The Bible does affirms that women ought NOT to teach their husbands nor have authority over the man or husband. The Bible expressly SPEAK ONLY about women that are married, not to have authority over their husbands or to tell their husband how to run things. The Apostle Paul ONLY made reference to people that are married, not to preachers whether it be female or male. Any person can preach AS LONG as they are sent by God and anointed by God. Woman can preach but to have total authority over her husband, is out of the question. Another thing. I know of this lady that told her husband, "At home you are the man and you have all the authority and say whatever you want, but in church I am the boss and I have absolute authority and you cannot tell me what to do. Period." She was the pastor of the church. Seriously speaking, this is a stupid attitude. Jesus IS the head of the church, the man IS the head of the woman(wife). Jesus did not say, "the man is the head of the church", but of the woman only. So, I have no problem with a woman preaching to either men or other women.
The ONLY problem I have is when ministers of the Gospel ARE taking the Bible out of context like the Jehovah's Witnesses are in the habit of doing.
Jesus said, "Go out into all the world and preach the Gospel." he did not said, "ONLY the guys please."
So, lets put aside every stupid arguement and begin preaching.

Thanks,
Flaquito

Arrow Women Preachers

According to the bible one of the first preachers was a woman!! Read John chapter 4:1-29. The Samaritan Woman meets Christ and begins to preach to the men!
