Is the Bible corrupt as the Muslim affirm?

I came across a Muslim guy a while ago and he told me that the Bible is totally corrupt and is not such a good book to rely on. So, I asked him. Ok, if the Bible is corrupt as you say, why is it that Muslim scholars and especially Muslim Apologists use the Bible when it comes to all of the atrocities committed by Mohammed: justifying Mohammed for all of his atrocities committed against innocent lives. That the Bible speaks about Mohammed. So, I told him, ok, again, the Bible is only good for your reference regarding Mohammed, but corrupt when it comes to Jesus. So, what was his asnwer, NONE.

The Bible is not corrupt. It has been changed during its existence, but it is not corrupt.

People who use the Bible for their own selfish desires are corrupt.

All in all, I would like to have a copy of the Bible in its original form. I'm sure there would be several
differences. Although, that is just an opinion, not a fact.

There is no original form of the Bible, unless we are taking about the Old Testament.. The New Testament book is a COMPENDIUM of many books from dissimilar sources. Some of the books were written just 400 years ago, others a 1,000 years or more. Some committee in Rome decided which books should go in and which ones to leave out, in many ocassions to fit the Catholic dogma and practices. If you believe Dan Brown, of the Da Vinci Code fame, the church eliminated all traces of important women from the story of Christ to make it a MALE- centered story. For the Jews, Christ is just the product of a hebrew woman raped by a Roman soldier and nothing else.
