Goodbye My Sweet Love!

All the memories aren’t forgotten,
They are neatly stored within my heart.
Where your presence will be forever felt, even if we must part.
The remembrance of our adventures,
laughter, tears, poems and calls,
These will be forever present,
for they made me feel what love is for.
Ironically we are parting, more in love
than when we met, but life has made
us victims of society and fate.
Always failing to see the importance,
of what we have within our plate.
Shining ever so brightly, expressing our love, even now and then!
This is why I have decided, to place this precious love of mine,
Safely up in heaven, to brighten the deep blue sky!
That is where it will remain, protected by God… not man,
For God will gently guide it until the day our souls meet again.
Though we walk our separate ways and our hearts are breaking now,
We must focus on our cargoes; we must do it somehow.
When you need me, please try to focus, read my poems as you do,
For in them you will find a bit of me made…especially for you…. till God lets us go!
It is funny how you can love someone yet not touch their human form,
For all that makes you hold on, is your love for their inner soul!
This soul that knows you better, makes you laugh and makes you sigh,
forever sharing stories… of yours and mine.
My sweet love, please remember that even though this is goodbye,
I will be with you always, for you are deep within my heart!

I don't mind being asked about my husband. He is going through a difficult time right now, his pain medication seems to have made his body reach an immunity to it and his dosage has to be adjusted again. This causes a lot of adjustment in his life and makes it difficult for him sleeping, eating or just doing anything..
