I am planning to move to Puerto Rico next may. I was wondering what types of jobs are available? I mean, basically I am clueless as to careers in the area. I am coming from the USA and my Monster.com resume is Monster resume #20056970.
Please let me know of persons I may contact regarding this issue. Thank you for any help! Joseph |

hard to find
Joseph
I have been trying for about 2 years now to find a job in PR. 1st are u fluent in spanish, & 2 are u willing to take a pay cut. It is very hard to find a job in PR,if u can the best way to get work is to save money, then relocate over there & look for work. You might have to find a poor paying job to start, but eventually a good one might be found. Federal jobs r the best way to go. What is your background & education? If u r a computer worker, business degreed, nurse, DR, or engineer u will have no problems. The problem I have is that I majored in the wrong field (Masters in Counseling). The mental health board over there is almost ready to collapse.I have a family so I have to find work in order to maintain the bills. My in-laws live in Ponce & also have had no luck in finding me work. The best way also is to go to Classificados de puerto rico or the ads in the Nueva Dia on-line. I really want with all my heart to move there, but it does not look good at this point. Bueno suerte |

I have a high school educations and am very good with computers, editing software, graphic editing, HTML, etc. I think that I may consider a move, but only after I receive some college here in the US.
Thank you for your Reply. ! |
