Smile relocation to PR

Dear Lilly,

I also am trying to relocate to PR for some time now. My in-laws live in Ponce & I still am having troubles finding any work. You have an advantage that you have a nursing degree. In classificados of El Nuevo Dia on the web has had a few nursing positions at hospitals. Also try federal pages & look at Fort Bucannan. I am presently employed as a therapist in mental health here in Ohio (yuck). I have a masters in counseling & have a fair knowledge of Spanish. If you find anything let me know & I will keep in touch w/ you. Probably the best bet is to move to Florida Georgia or Louisisana where you can have cheaper plane fair. Then you can apply for jobs& fly there for interviews. Please again let me know if you find anything in my field.
Take Care
Lee

Thumbs up

I've been moving between the states and Puerto Rico for years and the only companies I use are LA ROSA DEL MONTE AND MONTI MOVING
La Rosa Del Monte tollfree number is 1 800 4larosa (452-7672)
and Monti Moving's number in florida is (305) 884 4550
These comapnies have been around for over 30 years and are the companies that native puerto ricans use.

Hope this help they both offer great service in english as well as spanish are much cheaper than american companies.

I wish everyone the best of luck with their plans to move to PR. Before moving check out your moving companies carefully, and check the Better Business Bureau for any complaints filed against them. I choose Monti to move me from NY to Florida because they were a latin company and they LOST MY PROPERTY. Do Not Use Them. They had NO consideration throughout the phone calls and letters. I finally got some of my things more than a year later. Do Your Homework! Don't go based on the fact that they are latin.
