Talking

There is a very simple and basic recipe for Puerto Rican eggnog at QueRico.com. Select Puerto Rican food and then select recipe and it will come up.
Enjoy!

Hi Rosas..

This is my own recipe.. And the best I have had..

Coquito ~ Eggnog de Puerto Rico

28 ounces of coconut milk
2 cups of Bacardi rum, white
1 (14 ounce) can of condensed milk
4 egg yolks
1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon
Nutmeg

Placed all the ingredients (except the nutmeg) in a blender and mix well. Pour into bottles and refrigerate. Serve in small cups and sprinkle the tops with a pinch of nutmeg.

Enjoy.. And have a great Christmas

Ahh coquito. Muy sabroso.
I might add that this recipe is just as good without the rum for all the minors and the rest who tend to avoid excessive holiday drinking.
PR Christmas food is the best.
Any of you all wanna move to Provo and start up a nice PR restraunt. With the people that live here i guarentee it would be a hit.

Coquito

Hey I just read the recipe for coquito, and I love it, and I want to make it. Now my question is, what are the risks of contracting Salmonella from a drink made with raw egg yolks? I'm just curious....

Coquito..!!!

After many, many gallons of this stuff.. I've never heard of anyone getting sick... I beleive it has to do with the alcohol content..
