Question

I know of an alcoholic drink that is made with Quenepas and is named BILI but i don't know how to make it. Can someone tell me.

As far as I know, includes rum & qenepas. Amounts you'll have to try. It also needs to ferment, so it sits for a few weeks. Ask any UPR student they should know the recepy!! Specially those from the old CUTB Computer Sciences: Ja, ja!
If quenepas can't be found, try strawberries instead, you'll be surprised how tasty it is.

Lightbulb arroz con gandules

Hola mi gente de PR,

Aqui estoy en Miami,y estraño mucho a PR,desde Nena no he estoy de regreso, pero quiero que alguien de mi gente de una recete bien buena de arroz con gandules, y alcupurrias yo se hacerlo pero yo se que aqui ivoy a encontrar la persona de mi nativa Puerto Rico que lo hace a la perfecion

Arroz Con Gandules

2 tazas de arroz grano mediano (lavado)
3 1/2 tazas de agua
1 onza de tocino, picado
2 cucharadas de sofríto
1 lata de gandules (16 onzas)
2 cucharadas de alcaparrado
un sobre de Sazón con achiote
2 onzas de salsa de tomate
2 cucharadas de aceite
Sal a gusto

Sofría el tocino. Añada el sofríto, alcaparrado, sazón, salsa de tomate y aceite. cocina como 4 minutos a fuego lento. Añada el resto de los ingredientes y pon el fuego alto hast que hierva. Cuando el arroz se este secando.. revuelva y baja a fuego lento y tápalo. Continua cocinando hasta que el arroz esté blandito, revolviendo por lo menos 3 veces mientras se cocina. de 25 a 30 minutos..
