Looking for Felix Cruz

My name is Leelan Christine Cruz. I am looking for a Felix Cruz-Perez. He lives or lived in Puerto Rico. I do not know what pueblo in Puerto Rico though. He is an older man, around 60 or older. It is rumored that around 47-48 years ago he supposedly fathered a boy who was named Felix Cruz-Perez (after him). It is also rumored that he denied this child because the pregnancy was the outcome of an affair. I do not know if Felix Cruz-Perez (Sr.)was married or not. Therefore my grandmother Tomasita (unknown maiden name) raised my father Felix Cruz-Perez (Jr.) in NY. Tomasita married or remarried and had many children and is living in NY with her husband. Her health isn't so great though. Felix Cruz-Perez (Jr.) fathered 2 daughters, and has passed away 6 years ago. I am one of those daughters. I never knew my father's side of the family (grand mother, aunts and uncles) until my father passed, therefore I believe that asking my grand mother to relive such a difficult time in her life would not be appropriate. Also I was afraid that if I did try to contact him I might cause him family problems. Maybe his family (wife, children) would not understand. However, I believe Felix Cruz-Perez Sr. is my grand father, and I believe that I deserve the right to know who he is. To hear his side of the story. To show him pictures of his son, and his grand daughters, and great grand son. Because my father passed and he only had 2 girls, there is no boy to carry on the Cruz name. I would also like to know that "Our" Cruz name will continue to be passed on to our family. I do not want to impose on anyone. I just want to know if my grand father is still alive and knows that he had a son out there who was named after him. I wish I had more information to offer.
