I like the new graphics

But, the page takes so long to load. This isn't anything new. It's always taken long to load because of the javascript. I think the effect would be just as nice, if you only used graphics and skipped the scripting that changes the graphics every few seconds.

Though the effect is pleasing, I don't think most people would want to wait for it, especially once you've seen it. A page shouldn't take more than 20 seconds to load. It takes, on the average, about twice that on my dial-up connection.

Perhaps you could rotate the pictures every week. Other than that, the site is great. The interface is so easy to use, that I have no patience at all for some of the other discussion boards I encounter. You guys have done a fantastic job!

I am afraid that we cannot get the "ok" to change the design of the site. Are you able to shut your graphics off? Or, if you save the discussion boards page to your favorites, then you can avoid the homepage.

I'm sure that neither of these suggestions will solve the problem with your dial-up, but I hope it helps!
