Looking for a website to let my family and I know what we can do in San Juan when in S.J.
Tours? Adventures? Shopping? Restaurants? We have 8 hours to spend in port and don't simply want to walk through Old San Juan again. The cruise line (RCCL) doesn't really provide anything.

Steve:

There is a Wyndham Resort Hotel a block from the cruise docks. I am sure they have local tours you can book. Look up their site on the net. I believe they are a part of Hilton Hotels.

Tours from San Juan include the Bacardi rum factory. It is across the bay from the cruise docks. The "El Junque" rainforest national park, about an hour away by bus. Luquillo beach, one of PR's prettiest, about 1 hour away by bus. Snorkeling, diving, sailing, jet skis, etc. should all be available through the hotel.

Dear Jorge,
Thanks for your help. I will try the hotel suggested. The company I work for is the exclusive distributor for Bacardi in about 15 states. Although I sell only wine, I asked the local rep for Bacardi to set up a private tour for me--he said they would send a limo, etc. Well, we leave this Friday and as yet no reply...and in California we are the largest Bacardi rum customer in the U.S.!
I live in Long Beach, Ca. If you ever need help with anything in this area, incl. Catalina Island, Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Magic Mountain, etc. Let me know! Thanx!
