Question

I am trying to find out if someone has a will in probate or if they owned any property in Puerto Rico. The gentleman moved to Puerto Rico about 9 years ago and died about three years ago. Please help me. I have tried to call the title division of the courts there and have not had very much luck. I have an address and a social security number but no diary number for any property because I am not sure he owned property. I would appreciate any help that I can get. I do not speak spanish very well and I am confident that I can read spanish well enough to find the information I need. If there is an english speaking department or website that I can contact or visit I would greatly appreciate it.

Sincerely,
Julie Ruiz

Will In Probate Question

Julie

Go to http://www.tribunalpr.org

Press BUSQUEDA and you can search someone by name to see if they have a CIVIL OR CRIMINAL action pending. You will need the correct first name, paternal surmane, and maternal surname. Good luck.

Let me know how you make out.
