Thank you for your suggestions, I don't want to make it seem like I'm just leaving because I'm not I have to get everything ready first and I would tell my parents It wouldn't be just like running away I was just wondering if at 17 I am legally allowed to live on my own or if my parents could stop me from moving out. Its not like Im going onto the streets I have a place to go and I would get a job. Email me if anybody has anymore information m.nixon@puertorico.com

Contributions
I, myself have a problem with my mother's house which is vacant for about 6 years.
i go 3-5 times a year to maintian it. I tried selling it but my stepfathers son said I am sellin it too cheap. i went to a lawyer and if I sell it my stepfathers kids get half. I have been fixing the house with my own money and I save the receipts. I want to live in it when i retired, but now because the house is unlived, I have to pay for contributions. Like paying taxes on a house in the states. My mother has been ill in a nursing home and has alzemiers. We don't have the money to pay for the contributions and now I am left without a house because of the laws in Puerto Rico. Someone give me some advice. |
