I recently visited central Florida and saw tons of people from my hometown Juncos, Pto Rico. At the rate they are moving out of "La Isla del Espanto", I predict that by the middle of the century there will be no one left in my old town in PR. Even "independentistas de clavo pasao" were leaving, but most were leaving because of medical and safety concerns and many were professionals. It seems that if you want protection from criminals, the last people you want to go to are the police and do not go to hospitals if you are looking for medical help, apparently 1 out of 4 who enter a state medical facility never leaves alive.
