I live in New England now, but I lived in P.R. during my high school years. If I were to stereotype Puerto Rican women, it would be just the opposite. They can be very emotional and even hot-tempered. However, that is just a stereotype, and like all other stereotypes, it isn't true about all P.R. women.

However, the point is that I think it is totally absurd to claim all P.R. women are cold-hearted and unemotional. You may have been hurt by one P.R. woman who you see as cold-hearted. But there are good and bad women (and men!) of all races and nationalities. You just have to learn to find the right ones.

I would not date a woman based on any racial or national prejudices, but if I met a P.R. woman now who was right for me, I would not think twice. I know from the many Puerto Rican women I have met over the years, that they make great lovers, wives, and mothers. So what more do you want???

HAve to disagree with ya there bud. While there are defenatly some heartless ones out there, its only cause they are as shallow as you. Most of the PR Girls i have known have actually been very nice. So many of them will give anything to please their man. I think its a gross crime that so many of them are single mothers. You get yourself a REAL PR woman and you will be the happiest man alive.
At the same time i can say that i know at least somewhat what your talking about. Knew a girl in Wisconsin that calimed to be Boricua though she'd lived in WI all her life. Entirely heartless and selfcentered but she had no right to call herself anything but a B!tch. She in no way represented PR.

I think its the machismo Puerto Rican men! I live next door to one and his wife isn't "allowed" to do anything but what he says. The guy is a "piece of work!" Unbelivable in this day and age!

Jess most likely was speaking about the differences between the PR women in different places, like NE-Boston Conn area, NY area, NJ area and Wash as opposed to the island itself. I had about 4 straight bad experiences with my PR women but the women were all from screwed up urban areas and had screwed up backgrounds and crazy mothers , crazy ex-boyfriends etc. From the island have a different outlook and different attitude. Much better. try Vineland NJ or certain parts of NY.
