Info on Carlos "La Sombra" Torres Irriarte????

This is for anyone who can help me get any info on carlos " la sombra" torres irriarte. He was an inmate in PR and was killed on March 30, 1981. If any one can help me I would appreciate it. I am trying to get info for my brother.

Como ya lo habras notado es un poco misteriosa toda esta historia, como su nombre lo indica ,se llama asi por andar siempre(mientras vivia) entre las sombras de la prosion removiendo conciencias , fue un poco socialista e independentista, y nunca creyo en la ley de que el mas fuerte tiene siempre que dominar., si quieres saber mas, deberas darme causas mas fuertes.

Carlos "La Sombra"
On Saturday, March 30th of 2002, a special "Grito" cellebration was held (as it is every year) by La Asociacion Pro-Derechos del Confinado" (NETAS) at the Resurection Church in the Bronx, NY.
The program contained the following info. "HOMENAJE A LA SOMBRA" Carlos Torres Iriarte, 10/8/1945 - 3/30/1981 ORACION DE CUMPLIMIENTO Nuestra creencia en Dios nos obliga a un cumplimiento aqui en la Tierra... que es cuidar Nuestra Hermandad Neta. No abusamos ni aceptamos abusosy viviremos unidos con el amor de hermano. Nos daremos la mano en buenas y malas. Velaremos por nuestros familiares y mantendremos siempre el contacto. Asi lo hizo nnuestro Hermano Mayor Carlos Torres Iriarte, nuestro fundador de esta Asociacion Neta. MENSAJE A CARLITOS Aunque hayas muerto hermano querido, en nuestros corazones estaras. Te fuiste de este mundo y se cumplio tu sueno y aqui estaremos nosotros representando tu nombre ahora y hasta la muerte. The program of the event began with the singing of "La Borinquena" (Revolutionary version) and included the participation of community cleargy like Rev. Eddie Lopez of Resurrection Church (Invocation and Welcome), Brothers and Sister of the Asociacion (Presentacion del Pueblo), Rev. Luis Barrios (Guest Speaker), CArlos "Tato" Torres of the Juventud Nacionalista de Nueva York (Guest Speaker), Poetry by Brothers and Sisters and a musical presentation by Tato torres of Yerbabuena. The activity concluded with the following prayers: Padre Nuestro/Our Father, Salmo 23/Psalm 23, La Oracion de Cumoplimiento (se above), Mensaje a Carlitos (see above) and "El Grito". De Corazon... |

It was organized in 1919 along with the first Asociación Nacionalista de Puerto Rico (Nationalist Association of Puerto Rico). It was at that time presided by José Paniagua. The Nationalist Youth was then composed of students from the University of Puerto Rico and High School students. In New York City, it is currently composed of Puerto Ricans between the ages of 18 and 30 years of age. The Partido Nacionalista de Puerto Rico (Puerto Rican Nationalist Party) was organized on September 17 of 1922. Its Supreme Council was composed by seven lawyers, three doctors, three professors and two journalists.
