Question

Hello!

I'm a 31 year old Norwegian woman and I arrive in the Caribbean in the end of August. I want to learn Spanish, meet new people, get some new perspectives in life and warm sea air would also do me good. These are my personal reasons, and the way I want to attain these things is to get to do something worth while.

Is there anyone who know anything about the possibilities of volunteering in Puerto Rico? I'm not afraid of hard work, I've got some computer skills - especially in the web and multi media design department. I plan to stay for about a year. I'm currently a journalist, mainly distributing news to the deafblind society here in Norway. I also have some experience with children.

I'm not trying "to save the world" or anything. I just believe life's about meeting people and learning from one another. If anyone out there knows of some organisations or such, please tell me. And forgive me if this wasn't the right forum to make such a request. Peace!

Anna.
