Puerto Ricans in Puerto Rico

My husband is from Naranjito Puerto Rico,He has not seend his family in seven years,financially we have been unable to obtain airline tickets,he wants to move us to Puerto Rico,he has been very very home sick,we are here at fort hood Texas,yes he is military and faceing deployment,iam unable to talk to his mother when she call's our home,any online classes where i can obtain spanish speaking language from puerto rico?and if any one has any recipes or any thing that may help me i would greatly appreciate it,iam origanally from WV, my mother's side of the family are cherokee indians, so there is a big difference in cultures and language of course its been hard to say the least, i have the red rice mastered my husband tells me iam better at that then him now,i love your music even though i can not understand what is being said,i took basic spanish at the collage but my professor was in an auto accident and i was unable to complete the course,my husband ramon aka:Papo,his family last name is Cotto or Cotto-Quiles mother's first name is maria brother is Juan aka:berto he has a couple of other sisters and one brother that was killed in the line of duty,any photos of Puerto Rico or a better understanding of the cultural and language would be most helpful and like i said would be greatly appreciated,my other email address is cottos@isot.com again thank you
