In fact many in the history section of this forum hate Cristobal Colon. I have to assume they would rather live like the native folks in the Amazone.

Had no clue that Suki disliked communism as such. I actually don't think it is a bad idea------- the problem is--------- (I said before) mankind has not evolved enough. The human condition is not ready and there is too much greed and laziness among Earth's pupulation. That is why it must be imposed, but we know that does not work.

In any event, I don't think Suki has a bad bone in her body and she looked like a sweet person on the video images. BTW, I have disconnected the video system.
Stan, let's leave la Azukita for a moment, the last I heard her mom is probably having tech problems connecting to this forum, because she lost her password. Also that she seems to be bregando with a new laptop, since the old crashed and trashed. Perhaps, you could help her along tech lines. I would advise she open a new account again with PR.com, but it seems too much of a brete at her age, which is considerable. Of course, Suki made it all a mystery, and wants incognito email interchanges with the moderator Leticia_g, who as you may know, is going through really tough times in Orlando after making a change to Florida. Leticia has respiratory problems, she gets pneumonia every winter, so she had to make a move. But it shouldn't have been to Florida which is really a filled-in plateau over vast swamplands. No one with her problems who made the move there could stay, as it aggravated their bronchial tubes. She should have moved to say Arizona or New Mexico, desert territory, which is splendid for people with breathing problems. But, alas, to pick up again and move again is going to cause her a bundle of dough, and it will be tough on her retirement financial resources.

You say you learned something from my last post. That makes me glad I wrote it. And yes our Spanish ancestors had core values, and were at the same time, tough as nails. When I was younger I was continually harassed by anglosajones who called them "bloody Spaniards"; these were mostly Brits who I met in England and Spain, too. And I said to them, if they are so bad as you opine, why haven't they never been brought up on charges before an International Tribunal, like later the Germans and the Yanquis were? And why did you Brits continue doing commerce with them, even stopping military activities during the invasion of the Spanish Armada, in order to get your shipments from Jerez of fine Sherry wines and Cognac? Ha, Ha, ha...They were stumped by that question, and really knew that our ancestors were not as bad as they traditionally said, but it was merely a hype of their feud with them over Imperialist "grandeza"; the Kings needed minions, etc.. However, with that said, the Spaniards continue, even under the parliamentary democracy they have, to demonstrate their authoritarian ways, like with respect to me, i.e., giving me Spanish citizenship, which is legal because it was an act of the Cortes, and without querying me for my imput on the legislative act. So here I am at my considerable age with dual citizenship, whether I agree with it or not. This act of 'IMPONIENDO' is precisely what I loathe about the second class American citizenship which the U.S. Congress statutorially imposed on us Puertorriquenos. And the way things are going, it seems that the only citizenship that I will ever have a say in approving will be our own Puerto Rican one, ala mode, Comrade Juan Mari Bras, who made it all possible.

Regards,
EddieR

LOL! Now everyone knows you're lying, lol. For all those who have seen my picture, do I look like a fat, white-guy with curly hair, and glasses?
