Suki and I have disagreements, but whenever I see we are heading into a belicose acrimonious situation I try to accept whatever remark she sends my way as the last word.

When a lady and a gentleman have an argument it is never a good idea to engage the feminine side of the equation. Suki has said nasty things to me and I simply accept them. It would be ungentlemanlike for me to up the ante with additional insulting remarks. Afterall there was a reason for her to be upset and to retaliate.

The best analogy I can think of is when a woman "le dá una bofetá a un hombre por ser fresco". In this instance one should simply acknowledge that the line was crossed and accept the punishment. To retaliate would be highly unacceptable.

I suggest you stop your ranting and accept her as she is.

Again seeking bochinche? Ed is pissed. About something. I don't know what it is. I aint going to fall into the trap of having another questions assault and insensitive remarks by you or that foul El Jib. If he wants to say something I hope he does it with discretion. And not this public humiliation he is into lately.

If Ed is angry at me. He should use email and say it. And get it off his chest and move on. He can curse me and call me names to his heart content in private. And or just ignore the whole chisme if he is smart. And avoid los chismosos like you and El Jib. Yes, your 'hypothesizing about me in public' got me ANGRY. How dare you? I am ANGRY. At both you and Ed. But Ed is pissed cuz of his efforts that to him did not come to fruition like he wanted them to. If it will take away his pain, let him blame me and say I failed the ideology. The truth is we did not have the months and in depth study in detail of all the great Marxist thinkers like I would have liked. It is too late for me now. The man has his notions set in stone about me. But he can be very successful with his intelligence and writings with others. Just don't beat my sense of self and personhood up. Attacking my family, my religious convictions, my emotional vulnerabilities about my dead father. that is what evil, callous people do. Well, of course, that is the most sensible thing to do. However, I did warn her that our conversation about stuff that happened a long time ago on this forum could lead to others fishing in troubled waters, and gossip-mongering for those who like that sort of thing. And I was correct, n'est pas? She did however give you the benefit of the doubt that you were only hypothesizing about her, but I, who told her point blank that I WAS HYPOTHESIZING ABOUT HER PROBLEMS, THAT she did not accept obviously. I guess she felt hurt that she might have a penchant for being una perra/nina malcriada. She revealed to me in "private" email things about her childhood that I will never directly say on this forum. So she is very safe about that. But note that she touts the privateness of email, but was the first to communicate things I said in email to others on the forum, and I queried her about that, and she only basically laughed it off. Double standard?..eh, what else can I say. Now, you have been sent to Hell with that Maitreya in tow; and you compare it only to a slap on the face. Oh, no, not that superficial; a slap is not a damnation or a curse; it is a social event that a man can face down without much shame at all. It happens, and is common. But sent to Hell is to be cursed with damnation, and both you guys, one of which is obviously a metiche Maitreya, and you have been more than insulted. You have both been cursed by one who possesses the "third eye" of Hinduism, hmmm. That is the worst mantra possible out of that far eastern religion. Stan, I am optimistic that you know no fear about the 'the pains of hell', since you probably have not been to the confessional for a long time, and don't need to recall the words of the Act of Contrition. And if that be the case, no Eastern mystic or yogist can instill fear into you by their vile cursing. Nevertheless, let me try to unravel what is the discord that I have been experiencing with Suki. Lately, she says she came to the Poltics forum and also the Philosophy forum looking to make friends ala the Pen Pals type. Strange isn't it that a graduate Anthropologist should be so condescending towards us that she actually thinks we would believe such nonsense. However, we are Puertorriquenos and in her neck of the woods, Colorado, gringolandia, to ride around in SUVs and own homes and even be landlords is all bourgeois stuff, and Suki has all of that to qualify as a gringa. So the bourgeois there look down on us Puertorriquenos as most of the white establishment do. So no wonder that Suki inadvertently looked down on us, like the queen on the hill, looking down on the masses. But then the real issue, and I think I have nailed it, is that Suki is political, having absorbed the socialism that comes from old Liberalism, and she also adquired the current fad in the bourgeosie world out there yonder that old Liberalism is passe, obsolete, like when teenagers rebel against their parent, but in the end never meant it, because it was only a fad or a peer thing to do. Now, my scientific socialism is also demographically engendered from out younder and Suki is dutifully as a bourgeois deeply against communism, albeit, she recognizes it as a form of socialism, Hooray! And what is endemically Puerto Rican about this with Suki is that she dreads having scientific socialists in the United Front for Independence for Puerto Rico. And on the contrary, now I feel the same way about her and her ersatz socialism derived from old Liberlism, and opine she is not good for our United Front, either. There we have it!!! the source of the conflict that is driving the discord. She knows damn well it isn't anything I said about her, her hubby who is like Whimpy, from whom the nickname of wimp comes from, a cartoon character that only like to eat MEAT, hamburgers in fact. Here your barriga llena, corazon contento axiom comes true. Her hubby, based on the hypothesis I am spinning, is a wimp, who although a college man, and an artist, does not want to enter the gnitty-gritty tough and rough world of politics, because he is so well-fed in "every way" by Suki that it is a classic case of barriga llena, corazon contento, and for him to hell with the problems of a colonized and suffering Puerto Rico. No way can I abide the socialism of Suki derived from old Liberalism, and no way can she abide scientific socialism derived from Babeuf, Marx, Engles, Lenin, Stalin, and Mao tse Tung. There's my analysis of what the crux of the problem is between Suki and me. Everything else is mere hypothesizing, even the part about her expired father, who I said she can always be with him in her remembrances, since memories are everlasting, but according to us scientists death is real. Of course, she took it as an insult. My gosh, how inhuman of her grousing over political differences, and then saying she only wanted a pen pal. What tripe is that? when she has been political and ideological from day one on the POLITICS AND PHILOSOPHY FORUMS.
