Cool Oye, El Cid

Saludos, Suki.

yeah!

el cid,
Thats it! I knew there was a way. Thanks! As for my Spanish, I know if I were to practice speaking I would improve by leaps and bounds, but it takes me forever to put the words into sentences. I know what I want to say, I just have to say it in my head before I speak it out loud. I guess Spanish speaking people have the same problem with English!

Suki

Cool Hopebee:

Take a look at http://spanish.about.com/library/weekly/aa031599.htm. There you can see other ways to get spanish characters.

About thinking words in local language, it's normal (me too..). But if we were an authentic spanish-and-english-speaker, we wouldn't have to think in this way.

This question should be responsed by something that speak both languages fluently, as Suki.

Sukiiii. What language do you dream in? What language do you think in? English? Spanish? Both? Depending on situation? Depending on dream?

Hopebee: you should try to get spanish-¿subtitled? films. It's a good way to learn to think in another language.

See you!

Lightbulb Suki

Suki: El Cid, you should have said "In terms of speaking in a native language it is very normal, when one is truly bilingual in both Spanish and English (los idiomas siempre se ponen en letra mayuscula en ingles), and it is unnecessary to have to codeswitch." That is what you wanted to convey El Cid.

This question should be responsed by something that speak both languages fluently, as Suki.

Suki: El Cid deberias decir--You should direct the question to someone who speaks both languages fluently, for example, Suki.

Sukiiii. What language do you dream in? What language do you think in? English? Spanish? Both? Depending on situation? Depending on dream?

I dream, I love, and also thoroughly enjoy many earthly activities in Spanish, I cook in Spanish, and at home I speak in Spanish, poetry and many other things such as: Listening to music, and noticing the beautiful things in life in my mind, I associate it with speaking in Spanish. I think in English too...El Cid. I think in both. I appreciate literature, film and books and music in both....I enjoy both. I also enjoy French and am studying Chinese (Mandarin). Though I do not have the time. Diversity is lovely is it not El Cid? The best of both worlds.

Hopebee: you should try to get spanish-¿subtitled? films. It's a good way to learn to think in another language.

See you!
Siempre un placer. Cid, enviame un correo electronico. Adios.

Unhappy Sukiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
