Wink I love this subject.......baby names...

I have thought long and hard about lovely names for a little Puerto Rican baby girl....(who I have always would have been overwhelmed with joy to have, and I fervently hope that I do someday)....sigh....let's see:

my favorite picks are:

Anais

Fatima

Xiomara

Libertad

Aixa

Saviya

Magali (I have an Aunt with this name)

Monserrat (love this name)

Damaris

ANd common little girl names in Puerto Rico are:

Migdalia
Ada
All the Marias....such as Maria del Rosario, Maria del Pilar, Estrella, Jennifer, Naomi, Luisa, Luna, Sol, Soledad,

Some unusual and ancient and historical names:

Antigona, Artemisa, Refugio, Olvido, Perfecta

Some unusual names for women in my family tree:

Mar (my cousin is named this), Regalada, Presencia, Vida, (big wink), Alma, Corazon, Cancion,

Yadira, Zaida, Nereida, Maritza, Ilka, Concepcion, Caridad, Tanairi (after a soap opera), Pamela, Zoraida, Talisa, Ligia, Laurel...etc. etc.

Paloma is a nice name if you don't mind the unusualness of it. Lol. Valentina (another aunt of mine). Lol.

Good Luck.

Suki.
