Hello my name is Myanna and I am 19. I am in the Navy and I wish to learn Spanish. I am half Puerto Rican and half Black. I never got the opportunity to learn because because my mom is a black american and I never spent time with my father who puerto rican. If anyone is willing to teach I am willing to learn.

Spanish is a little complicated for over the Web lessons. Why don't you take a Berlitz course? I bet you that the Navy has some Language courses available. Then, after some weeks of courses, start watching some Spanish TV; rent a few movies in Spanish, buy a few records of Spanish music and sing the lyrics. This will be the way to learn. See if you can get transferred to Roosevelt Roads, and travel around in Puerto Rico a little. Watch out for the Puerto Rican guys (many, but not all), they are always looking for easy pickings. But, one thing I can tell you as a Puerto Rican, as far as love life, we tend to be very color-blind.
