many thanks for helping me out.( im not sure if i sent my previous message to the correct place. forgive me if this is a near duplicate)
My P.R.friend actually wrote this sentence to me (the rest of the letter was in English). We lost contact for a while when he moved back to P.R. so this letter was really important to me.
I am English and iam trying hard to learn your language. I am thoroughly enjoying it .
I hope i can help somebody else out in the near future.
Is Spanish or English your first language?
Anyway thanks, and hope to chat again max

Yup, I got your other message, and I answered. But like I said before, I'm glad I could help and that you and your friend can now continue to write to each other and maintain contact. Friends are very important.

Is Spanish my first language? Well, I was brought up in NY but in a PR home, so I guess I can say I don't have a "First" language. Acutally me and one of the guys at work had this conversation before, he asked that since I was PR, when I thought something in my head, did I think in English or Spanish? I think in both, sometimes it depends on the topic of which I'm thinking about, but I love both languages and am thankful to my parents that they taught me both.

Spanish is a beautiful language and it always comes in handy to be bilingual, so I encourage and commend you for wanting to learn another language, good for you! I KNOW you'll succeed!
