I am trying to learn spanish as well. Here is what I'm doing. I took a beginner class last year for about 13 weeks to get me started. While taking the course, I enlisted the support and help of my spanish speaking friends. They would correct me when I said words incorrectly. At first, I was embarrassed but I soon got over it because I wanted to learn. Ahora, I go to mexican grocery stores, go see spanish movies. Now I can order my foods in spansish. It takes time to build your vocabulary.

Remember, to learn anything takes practice. The more you do it, the better you get. Feel free to email me at sunday@ameritech.net. I also write my friends in Spanish for practice. I'd be happy to help and ENCOURAGE you!

Cool

luv2luv2luvgeo, another simple detail: it's not "est", that's french. The correct form is "es" without the "t". Also, you're saying "Il" that's also french. You have to say "su" if you're trying to say "his" like in "his family". What I noticed is that you're mixing french, spanish and english and it will bring you a lot of confusion. So my recommendation for you is to buy a dictionary and take some classes. I know you'll learn quickly because you have the idea and you're not afraid of speaking even if you don't say words right. In other words, you seem to be motivated.
Good luck!!
