Question

Im sorry, but I want to know what's the meaning of "Tripioso".

One guy said to me that its an adjetive to be applicated to a sexy girl or something like that.
And she said to me that the adjetive is from Puerto Rico.
Is it right?

Sometimes is applicated to Great or powerfull thing or guys.

Someone could help to me?

Im sorry if its a hard word.

Its ok if the answer is in spanish.

Thanks a lot!
Andres

Cool

The word "tripioso" comes from the word trip. It is what we call (in P.R.)a "spanglish". That is when a word becomes so frequently used (like a fashion word) that we adapt it to our language. The word trip like in "tripping" refers to someone that is under the effects of an alucinating drug and is seeing things like from another world. Saying "tripioso" in spanish means that something is out of any standards and is funny, has to be both.

Finally! You have no idea how happy I am that finally got to this site.
I have heard my daughter verbalizing Tripiando and Tripeo no long ago.
I wanted to know if she knew the meaning so I ask her.
She said that it relates to a person who is been very funny and have people laughing all the time with jokes and so.
I do not know if she is right, she is only 15 years old.
