I recently wrote a book review about this book, which will be published in teh upcoming issue of __Sargasso__, a journal of the University of Puerto Rico. If you want an introduction and good analysis of literature of Puerto Ricans, you should try to get a hold of this book at a library or bookstore:

__Boricua Literature: A Literary History of
the Puerto Rican Diaspora__. By Lisa
Sánchez-González. 215 pages. New York: NYU Press,
2001.

Happy reading!
