mala movies

dancing with the wolves
dirty dancing
too many others to list

Great movies:
Drama:
The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter- with Alan Arkin [made in the 60s]- one of the few movies to actually bring tears to my eyes
*About a deaf mute
Pappilon- with Dustin Hoffman

Comedy:
Naked Gun movies- stupid and goofy but hilarious. I mean what they did to Barbara Bush was classic.
Im Gonna Get You Sucka- every hero needs a theme music- lol
Up In Smoke- "hey pendeco"
Nice Dreams- not good: hanging in front of a glass elevator with your privates hanging for people to see.
Night At the Roxbury- "want a little of this" -lol

War Flicks:
Saving Private Ryan- gritty but compelling
A Few Good Men- you cant handle the truth - a classic
Platoon- war between good and evil elements

Chick/Love Flicks:
The original Thomas Crown Affair- with Steve Mcqueen and Faye Dunaway

Sci-Fi
Matrix - one and two; the 3rd gets only 3 out of 5 cuchifritosPlanet of the Apes the original

Epics:
Ten Commandments- yes I hate Charlton Heston's politics but he was a great actor
Quo Vadis- Peter Ustinov- embodied evil- cheesy production [it was the 50s after all]- but solid acting

Forever on film - P.U.

Half Baked - friends and I walked out of the theatre
Set it off - left the theatre feeling depressed
Punch drunk Love - Adam Sandler needs to stick to comedy
Blood in Blood out - Don't believe the hype

To many other stinkers to mention
PAZ

I listed those first couple of movies of big time sucky movies

You made me remember that "In Living Color" Tommy Davidson [I think was his name] and David Alan Grier this this spoof where they were suppose to be these big time movie producers who were making a movie call "Dirty Dancing With the Wolves"- it was hilarious.

Whats up out there is cyber world?

Freakin rain sucks in NJ.

Whats up broda!

Floods everywhere; today I was in Sayreville, Edison, Garwood, Newark, Belleville, Jersey City and Bayonne- my nargas were so wet I had to use a blow dryer on full power to dry them. lol

The funny thing is, I have a sump pump in my basement to pump out excess rain water. The first two days it rained I thought it was broken; when I checked it it was ok. Conclusion: The ground has been so dry that it took 3 or 4 days of rain to permeate the ground and get my pump working.

The ground was so dry that I had 12-18 inch disgusting mushrooms clusters back there.

Fortunately where I live the ground is about 20 feet or so above sea level so I guess I am "safe" from New Orleans type flooding- lol.

What's it like in your neck of the woods?

What do you think of Harriet Miers?

Awww man... my old stompin' grounds there.. (mainly by taking the 13 and 70 buses LOL!!!)

But anyway, it cleared up today finally. No he visto el sol en 10 dias! We did not get any flooding, because it did not rain nearly as hard as it did there. My cousin said it was pretty bad over in Hillside and West Orange also, but I figure anyplace north of Philly was getting it bad.

I will withhold comment about this Miers appointment until the smoke clears. They want us to think one thing, but we won't even know what to think until she has to make a decision on something, tu sabes q estoy diciendo??? Politics as usual!
