Yes, I am. Thanks. Can I share a little history with you? The following is not intended to be offend. I noticed that at another chat room you posted, that you are a hispanic woman looking for a hispanic man, I'm not sure if I have the quote right.
But the word HISPANIC, is so belittling toward our spanish culture. This word was invented by non-spanish people, back in the 1940-1960, when puertorican first started migrating from the homeland to NYC. Since we had a heavy accent, our pronunciation was not that good when it can to speaking the english language. Hence, we started saying that we "DON'T SPIC IT THE INKLISH, OR DON'T SPIC IT GOOD". You see, they started making fun of us by quoting: " You can't his spic it english, then you should his spic back home to where you came from". So, a true latina of stronge spanish bonds, like yourself should never see yourself as a hispanic. Our people have come a long way.
Never go back, remember this, pass it on to your girls.
