I'm here by choice now, I moved here with my parents 11 years ago. I love it here, I live in Salt Lake and close to the beautiful mountains. I go back home every other year or so. I miss my island especially in the Winter time, I don't know if you were here during the winter, but if you were you know what I'm talking about. So, you were stationed here? How long ago did you leave Utah?. It's hard to find any Boricuas here, there isn't a lot of us and the few that are here, we all know eachother. Anyway, thanks for replying.

I was there in 1983.Like I`ve said before,I was with the US Army,I was assigned to the 1st Infantry Division,Fort Riley,Kansas.Every now and then,my batallion and other units of the division, would move across the US to participate in training exercises. In one of those moves,we ended up in Utah at a base where the US Army tests and develops chemical weapons.Perhaps you`ve heard of it,Dugway proving grounds.I used to be an aircraft armament repairman,I fixed, maintained the weapons delivery systems in the army`s,then, premiere attack helicopter, the AH-1S Cobra.I did enjoy the dessert scenery,I love the cold so,the snow doesn`t bother me.While there,I also visited the US Air Force bombing range in Hill AF Base. With all the cost cutting the military has experienced in the last 15 years I wouldn`t be surprised if you told me you`ve haven`t heard of this places.I`m presently living in Miami, married with kids.It would be interesting to know how a Puertorrican survives in Utah. Can you find all the food stuff that we love to eat?I would like to know!I can live anywhere in the US,but, can`t do without the rice and beans every now and then! How old are you? Do you go to school?Work? If you have the time please reply.Take care, nos vemos mi pana!
