Hey - Welcome Aboard

Hello mate. Hope all is well in the land down under. I like to meet new and interesting people. How long have you been in Australia? Would you ever move back to Uruguay?

Wink Can't belive i got a reply!

Hey colorblind,

I can't belive i got a reply at all and so quickly!
Like you, i also like to meet new and interesting people but i honestly did not think i would get anyone answering to me.

Anyway, as for going back to Uruguay, i've been back twice in the last 4 and a bit years and loved every minute of it. I'm planning on going back in Febuary for at least 2 months and also stop over in Argentina and Brasil for the carnavale.

Do you speak spanish? What country you in? By the way my real name is Victor. I'm 29 and live in Sydney. Anyway, that's enough of me for a little while, tell me something about yourself.

I hope to hear from you soon, oh, and by the way, why the name colorblind? I use cruz because i always loved that name and the 29 fis or my age. Original hey? yeah right!!

Anyway colorbling, i do hope to hear from you and i do hope you speak spanish beacuse i'd love to be able to use it as my spanish isn't the best after 22 yrs in Australia. If there is anything you want to know, just ask. If i don't want to answer you i'll let you know or lie to you ok? Just kidding, i'm honest and straight forward and polite, so please don't be shy.

talks soon,
Vic

Hey, I like that new surname "Colorbling". Naaa, I'll stick w/ Colorblind. I chose that name because I'm a very open person when it comes to race/nationalities. Been like that since I was a child. I have white, black, Asian & Latino friends/acquaintances. The church that I attend is the same way, very diverse. I'm 33 years old, African-American and born in Tampa, Florida. (Not to far from Disney World) I do speak Spanish; However, I comprehend the language better than I can speak it. I have problem w/ my tenses (past & future).

I like the fact that you can travel to such wonderful and exciting locations. (i.e. Brazil) I hope one day I can get out of the U.S. to see the world.
Well ta, ta for now. (ttfn)

Smile Colourbling it is!

Hey there,

So your in Tampa, and you say you've never travelled outside the US? WHY? You have Mexico down south, Canada and Alaska up north and all of the Carribean just a short swim away!

I was in the US a few years back, i went with the university of new south wales to play rugby in North Carolina at Duke university. We spent 2 weeks in the US and i loved every minute of it. The only thing that i didn't like was the the fact that most of the places we went to where either in a black subburb, a white subburb, mixed or latin subburb. Were not used to that over here and seeing it was ugly, we didn't see much interaction between races, but never the less we still had a great time. other than that, i must say that the US is all that it's cracked up to be. We even spent our last 2 days in Vegas partying before coming back and if you've never been, GO, and take a couple of friends with you. trust me on that one!!.

Anyway, enough of my bragging. Hey i hope your gonna tell me if you want me to stop writing to you, im not an ass nor am i someone who hounds people ok. Personally i think im the most adventurous person i know, but at the same time, i've been labelled BORING by manny because i always want to do something. As crazy as it sounds, many people have said it to me. So PLEASE tell me to go away if your bored already ok?

By the way, if you wondered what i look like ( i know i do), let me know, our surf team/club recently put a photo of some of our contest on our website. I wont tell you unless you ask so if your curious let me know.

catchya,

vic

Glad to hear back from you. FYI - I no longer live in Tampa. It's a long story but, I currently live up north in Ohio. I like the change in seasons up here. Plus, I believe God has a plan for each of us and His plan for me is to remain here for now and to be a disciple at my current church. Someday I hope to move out west because I really like mountains. So you like to surf. I used to boogy board and swim allot as a child in Florida but, those days are over. I miss las Playas. I used to stay 10 minutes away from the beach.

Sorry about your experience here in America. Do you feel that the races in your country interact better?

Well, I'll keep it short. Also, you can continue to write. As long as you know, I just want general conversation. Nothing to personal. Oh, I would like to see your picture. Give me the website address.
