What makes me a man
The blood on my hands
The sweat on my brow
My body aching from the work I do
The compassion
Many things I can give my woman
The feelings which allow me to feel her
Understanding her sadness
The good husband I can be
The mentoring
Playing ball with the kids
Telling them a story at bedtime
Being a good father
Achievementsand goals in my life
Having people like me
Establishing my future
None of this makes me who I am
I am who I am inside and I am a man

Am I a man?
A man I am
A man am I
I think sometimes I am a man
Sometimes a man I think I am,
but then I think...
...What is a man?
A man is what?
A what is man?
Then I remember
A man is man,
man, a man is.
That is all,
all that is,
is a man.

To be a man, an action, It stand to reason then that the definition of a man is in his actions. I like to think that we are what we do. A good man does good deeds and son, and so forth and the opposite is also true.
The question should be what kind of a man am I? Instead of, Am I a man? The world is crowded with men, not all of them good ones.

Strive to be a good man and you will be "the man".
