Hi,
Well in response to your post..don't give up! You are one year older than me. I am 24, and I also have had bad luck. It is hard to meet a decent and honest hombre. I do however believe that when the time is right he will come along. Don't give up on leisure activity. Try to be social, and not have totally "high expectations" whenever you meet a guy. That was my problem. I was burned bad about 6 months ago. It really hurt to hear the man I loved with all of my heart and soul tell me he did not want to be with me anymore. After being with him for a year, getting attached to his little boy and him, I thought my world was crumbling upon me. I have found the strength to pick myself up, with the help of a lot of people, and still I work hard to this very minute to get through the tough moments. I recently met a guy, whom has surprised me because we have known eachother for a month and are able to just "be friends". No complications. That is what I want right now. I would like to build a strong friendship as a foundation in my next relationship so the same mistakes are not made. I don't know your circumstances, but just don't give up hope because Mr. Right awaits you!

It takes a minute to fall for someone and a whole heck of a lot longer to fall out of love with them.
When your heart is in it, it hurts! Believe me. Mine was all in it, and I still have feelings that I am dealing with. It hurts, pain is not fun. If you don't mind me asking, is this man who you have your son with? Is he your first love? What are the circumstances that make you say "no chance ever?"

I got it. So why isn't there a chance with your first true love?? Did something happen that makes you feel you cannot trust him or something. Please don't feel obligated to answer that.
If you'd like you can e mail me at jbobnar@koolseal.com
