En constestación de una queja "Traída por los Pelos" de racismo infundado

Estimado Administrador:

Tengo que responder a una queja que fue traída por los pelos a su consideración. Este servidor nunca a mencionado, ni atacado el color de la piel en este foro. Nunca he sido racista, porque todos los puertorriqueños tenemos las tres razas en nuestra sangre: taína, española y africana. Me siento orgullosos de mi herencia hispana como puertorriqueño y a la misma vez me siento orgulloso por ser ciudadano norteamericano.

Las fotos de Hitler que fueron posteadas por este servidor, nunca se tocó el tema del color de la piel. Por cierto, según los conceptos “Hitlerianos” los puertorriqueños no pasaríamos la prueba de aquel bárbaro régimen. Traje las fotos de Hitler con el propósito de recalcar el uso de la intolerancia por encima de la razón y eso estaba claramente establecido. De ninguna manera mis post llevan un mensaje ofensivo contra las personas de color.

Hitler tiene unas similitudes innegables sobre los Nacionalismos extremos y esa precisamente iban dirigidos mis post. La historia vivida por nuestro pueblo donde han habido grupos que han impuesto la fuerza y la violencia por encima del dialogo y la razón. Afirmado y aceptado por grupos radicales en casi todos sus escritos, que solo desean imponer la fuerza e intolerancias contra aquellos que piensan distinto a sus causas y en contra de la instituciones democraticamente establecidas por nuestro Pueblo.

Por tales motivo, la queja traída que hace alusión al “racismo” de parte de mi persona le falta a la verdad. Estoy haciendo uso de mi libertad de expresión y una foto presentada de Hitler, que fue mostraba claramente y sin hacer alusiones a personas de color en nada y bajo ninguna cir****ancias puede ser catalogado de ofensivo. Si una simple foto de este dictador es ofensiva, entonces tendríamos que borrarla de todos los libros de historia del Mundo, cosa que iría en detrimento de la historia.

Esto es un foro político, en que se discuten datos y se evalúan las acciones de los Gobernantes que fueron grandes figuras que impactaron a la sociedad positivamente, y otros que fueron la escoria bajo dictaduras establecidas. Por consecuencia, no podemos interpretar que una foto bien traída de Hitler, sea ofensiva para algunos. De la misma manera una foto bien traída de Albizu Campos no lo es, aunque algunos puedan decir que es ofensiva, principalmente por aquellos que han perdido familiares y han resultado heridos bajo las ordenes de este radical. No se puede dejar de discutir un tema, por la protesta infundada o sentimientos creados por algunos de los que participan en el Foro Político. La libre discusión de las ideas le hacemos honor a la historia y principalmente a la libertad de expresión que goza nuestro pueblo gracias al modelo de la Democracia Norteamericana.

Para terminar, es mi petición que se respeten los nicks y los nombres en el foro, para evitar malas interpretaciones y confusiones. Le sugiero eliminar aquellos nombres y variaciones creadas con la intención de confundir. He observado que usted esta manteniendo un buen control del asunto y ya eliminó la variación de Nacionalista del nick NaZionalista. De la misma manera considero que los referente al nick original del EL_Jíbaro sea eliminado la variación creada de E_Jíbaro, para evitar la confusión que están teniendo los “foristas” al momento de expresar sus ideas. Carleone, el Administrador está en Seattle, lo cual es el jurutungo de los 48 Estados Continentales, y sólo habla en inglés. De modo que él no puede entender lo que escribes. Pónselo en inglés al pobre hombre.

Anyway, ganamos esta batalla y el otro bando lo único que puede hacer para sentirse mejor es calumniar; gracias a Dios que conmigo no tienen ni un pelo para aferrarse en cuanto a racismo se refiere. ¡Volvamos a la carga compay, que largo camino nos resta!

Thank you El_Jibaro, I can read Spanish to an extent but would not attempt to write in the language. The current Moderators are fluent in both.

A_carleone, I understand that you were not trying to be racist by posting the picture of Hitler. However, the photo itself represents evil to many and was considered offensive. That is why it was deleted.

Dear Moderator:

In reference to a member’s complaint, that is misleading this forum. I never to mentioned, nor attacked the color of the skin of any person in this forum. I have never been racist, because all the Puerto Ricans we have the three races in our blood such as: Taína, Spanish and African. I feel proud of my Hispanic heritage as Puerto Rican and to the same time I feel proud being U.S. Citizen.

The photos of Hitler were posted for me; I never related it with the subject of skin color. By the way, on according to the Nazis concepts, the Puerto Ricans we would not pass the test of that barbarian regime. I posted the photos of Hitler with the purpose to compare the use of the intolerance over the reason and that was clearly established. I never had posted any offensive message against the black people.

Hitler has an undeniable similarity with the extreme Nationalisms and that indeed the way of my posts. The history of Puerto Rico in the last century showed radical groups these had imposed the force and the violence over the dialog and the reason. Affirmed and accepted by radical groups in almost all their writings, always wishing to impose the force and intolerance against the people with different viewpoint and also against of our democratic institutions established and founded for us.

For that reason, the complaint that it makes reference to racism is untruthful. I am doing use of my freedom of speech and also the Hitler’s photos were presented clearly and without making any references to the color of the skin and it can’t be judgment as offensive. If a simple photo of this dictator is offensive, then we would have to erase him of all history books of the World and that would go to detriment of history.

This is a political forum, in which opinions are discussed about the actions of the political leaders who were great figures that changed the society positively, and others who were the dregs under established dictatorships. Therefore, we cannot interpret that a Hitler’s photo, is offensive for some people. In the same way an Albizu’s picture is not objectionable, although some people can say he is offensive, mainly for people have relatives affected and have been hurt and killed under the orders of this extremist. It is not possible to stop any discussion or subject, by any baseless protest or feelings created for any member in the Political Forum. The free flow of discussion or opinions is the base of our history and also the freedom of speech that everybody enjoys today for our North American Democracy.

Before finish this letter, my request is to delete all nicks has similar names in the forum, to avoid bad interpretation and confusion. I am suggesting to you to eliminate those names and copies created with the intention to confuse. I had observed that you are maintaining a good control of this matter and already you had deleted the copy of Nationalista of the nick NaZionalista. In the same way any copy of original nick of EL_Jíbaro should be deleted, to avoid the misleading between forum members at the time of expressing their viewpoint. Thank you a_carleone to come to terms of your actions. About Albizu, mostly political people were killed or tried to been assassinated, Hitler is responsible with the murder of over 50 million of evils and innocents in Europe. Before you post something of that content, think of what the reaction might be, thank you!
