It sickens me when your moderators edit posts with out people's consent and also do not edit them because of bad content, but because they feel that they have the power to do what they want! I have complained about your sick Moderators before but this time I have public proof. Here is the thread inwhich Nacionalista edited my post which contained no bad content, did not ask my consent in the forum, and placed words that I do not believe in and could of been told to me in a reply post not on mines. I think you should deal with him/her accordinly!!

The user has been informed that his post was not edited in purpose.
I was trying to quote his post with a reply, and instead clicking the QUOTE button, I clicked the EDIT/DELETE button. I wrote my reply and posted. Didn't know what happen until the user posted a complain in the Politics forum, were the post was originally posted, and here. Normally, anyone that tries to edit a post not owned, will get an error message. Since I have moderator rights, I was allow to insert my comments without error message. I understand the concern Patria_y_LaPava have about having someone editing your post. I hate doing that too. But previous incidents with users not following the forum rules created this phenomenon. The moderators are the police of the forum, to make sure everyone abide by the forum rules. This is done to enforce the rights of everyone to post, and the rights for everyone to read decent post without vulgarity and human rights violations. I didn't get an email from Patria_y_LaPava about the incident, so that tells me that he is after other matters. Normally, if there is a problem with one of your post, the moderator will contact you, or you contact the moderator via email. But in this situation a simple honest mistake created a big commotion and I didn't know until I read it on the forum. As a matter of fact, I was wondering what happened to my post because I could not find it, not knowing it was together with his post. Again, if you have a problem, contact your moderator. If you don't get an answer, then contact the admin.

Yes Nacionalista you told me that it was a mistake, but because we are only allowed to edit our posts after 24 hours I could not delete or edit this post of mines here.
I didnt e-mail you because I knew you wouldnt have listened like that e-mail you told me that you were not going to edit or delete my post, to ask the admin, which I did, thus this entire thread! So I told you directly on the thread which you answered 2 days later, obviously passed the 24 hour mark. I am after one reason, to make sure this doesnt happen again! |

First: If it means for a moderator not to post reply the wrong way, I am sure I will pay more attention on which button I click when repliying to a post, since the QUOTE and then EDIT/DELETE button are so close. Second: If it means you don't want someone to edit your post, then make sure the post abide by the forum policy, no need for a moderator or admin to edit without your CONCENT. Good luck and keep posting!!!!
